Another month, another amazing consultant Rockstar we want to spotlight! Enter Carole Grantham. She’s an industry and MHA consultant veteran who specializes in revenue cycle management, financial operations as well as HCHB database setup, payroll, workflows, and operational processes. Carole came to MHA back in 2017. At the time, she was only our third consultant, and we are so lucky to still have her today. Carole is a client favorite because of her tenacious work ethic, savvy mindset, and knowledge base. “No one knows payor setup, billing and financial processes better than Carole Grantham,” says Chairman, Tom Maxwell. “She has helped so many customers identify challenges and correct them to meet their financial goals. We are so fortunate to have Carole on our team. She is the perfect example of an MHA Rockstar,” said Maxwell.
Carole is also loved by her peers. It seems that anyone who works on a project with her always has some kind words to share. “Carole is the best of the best in this industry. She consistently provides our clients with what I would argue is the best consulting in the country through her experience, knowledge, and client communication,” said MHA consultant, Evelyn Frye. “There is never a time you are working with Carole that you don't learn something. And her mentorship, kindness, and fun personality make her an absolute delight to work with on every project.”
Carole’s background
Prior to working for MHA, Carole worked for Sta-Home Health and Hospice for 28 years as their Director of Billing Operations. Carole has worked in the medical/healthcare fields since 1979. That’s about 42 years of experience and knowledge!
Carole currently resides in her hometown from when she was five years old in Yazoo City, Mississippi with her two cats. She is one of seven siblings and has two daughters and one grandson. In her free time, she loves to paint, crochet, and garden.
Carole’s MHA experience
Carole thoroughly enjoys working for MHA. She finds purpose in what she’s able to accomplish for our clients. “This is, by far, the most rewarding job I have ever had. I get the opportunity to use my experience to help home health and hospice agencies find solutions to their problems. I’ve met many wonderful people over the years and learned so much from them as well. I have had the opportunity to travel to 17 different states and hear so many wonderful stories of the incredible work these home health and hospice agencies do to care for so many people in need,” said Grantham.
It is evident that Carole’s passion for helping others is what motivates her to continue the tremendous work she does for each client of MHA’s. When asked why she took on the role of an MHA consultant she said, “This job allows me to support all the front-line workers who do such an amazing job caring for their patients in the comfort of their own home or in inpatient hospice facilities. As a family member whose parents benefited from this service, I am extremely grateful for their dedication and service,” said Grantham.
