We are proud to recognize Implementation Consultant, Steve Woodhams, as MHA’s Consultant of the Month for November. Steve exemplifies what MHA looks for in a consultant. His dedication to the team, along with his willingness to go above and beyond to learn and increase his personal value, makes him the perfect choice for this recognition. Congratulations, Steve! You are a true MHA Rockstar!
Steve joined us in August of 2020 as an implementation consultant. He currently provides best practice support for home health and hospice customers as they transition to a new EMR software. This transition often fills clients with stresses that come with it. Thankfully, Steve is the calming force that allows them to continue their focus on patient care while we work on the new software transition together.
“Steve has been so ambitious to know and understand HCHB. He has done an amazing job of sharing knowledge and a lot of consultants confide in him for support when troubleshooting issues within HCHB,” says HR Manager and Education Coordinator, Kevin Jones. “He has been such a true asset to any project within MHA.”
Steve has also stepped up his game and built an arsenal of knowledge as an MHA consultant. Senior Consultant, Hannah Echols, had this to say about Steve: "I am amazed at his level of knowledge in HH/HOS and HCHB, considering the short period of time he's been in the space. He is a valuable member of the MHA team!"
Background
Before joining MHA as a consultant, Steve came from a background in service project management for corporate community engagement. Steve worked with Home Depot’s Veteran Home Rehab Program, as he developed project scope, compiled resources, and curated community partnerships to ensure program success and assisted as many military veterans as possible.
Steve grew up in the ‘heart’ of Arizona’s wine country, Cottonwood, but currently resides in Aubrey, Texas. He has a passion for woodworking & collecting vintage woodworking machinery, along with antique mechanical typewriters. Formerly enjoyed canyoneering and rappelling, but the Texas flatlands do not allow for that anymore.
MHA Experience
We asked Steve what his experience working with MHA has been like, and he said the following: “The community vibe. Everyone treats everyone like family. Whenever a question comes up, there is never any hesitation for someone to step in and offer guidance and support and help you learn. Customers will never love a company until those who work with that company love it first. This is the key to our success and why MHA is an industry leader in EMR integration. I love working for a company that allows individual personalities to shine.”
Thank you, Steve, for your hard work and for setting an example of what being an MHA Rockstar is all about. Congrats on being November’s Consultant of the Month!
