Consultant of the Month | Donna Hodges

We are excited to continue our incredible way of honoring our consultant Rockstars who have gone above and beyond in their work during the past month. For October's honors, we have nominated Donna Hodges to receive the Consultant of the Month.
Donna joined MHA back in January 2021. In just ten months, Donna has already made an impact on the MHA team. Originally hired to work on revenue cycle projects, Donna has consulted on many MHA projects, from Provider Unification Plans to Rapid RCM Assessments. Since May, Donna has been working as a project manager on a big implementation project. We are truly grateful to have consultants like her!
Background
Before joining MHA as a consultant, Donna worked as a revenue cycle manager and has 26 years of experience in home health agencies. Donna currently resides out of Louisville, Kentucky, where she enjoys spending time with her family and dog. In her free time, Donna enjoys making beautiful embroidery pieces.
MHA Experience
Donna has been the talk amongst the MHA leadership team for the past few months. She’s always making time to help wherever possible and still manages to meet her deadlines. “Donna always maintains a positive attitude. In every conversation she leads is solution-focused and is always making the success of our customers her top priority,” said Natalie Fleet, a fellow consultant. “I started a project with Donna about a month ago. Since then, she has never ceased to impress me with her work ethic and ability to jump in wherever she’s needed. She consistently goes above and beyond for our customers, and I know I can always count on her to do a super job,” said Fleet.
We asked Donna why she likes working for MHA and here’s what she had to say, “The people are amazing. They are so collaborative and always friendly and want me to be successful. I love that I’ve worked on different types of projects, not just revenue cycle. Each project is a new experience which keeps every day exciting.” When asked about her experience working for MHA, Donna said, “Previous employers talked about collaborative efforts; MHA is the definition of working collaboratively.”
