Consultant of the Month | Brenda Echols

With August in full effect, our Leadership Team once again must select a superstar who masterfully represented MHA on-site while going above and beyond. This consultant is someone who was able to outline our core values, all while providing a professional service. During service, not only are they known to complete the job at high standards but create lasting relationships with the clients that extend after the completion of a project. With the never-ending supply of superstars at MHA, this is no easy task, but after careful consideration our team has chosen Brenda Echols as August’s Consultant of the Month.
Brenda joined MHA in June of 2021 and quickly became acclimated to the environment we foster here. “She does a wonderful job with implementations and receives positive feedback from clients,” said Kevin Jones, Director of Field Operations at MHA. Brenda’s willingness to take on tough projects, and go the extra mile to ensure clients are prepared to take over once her job is done is amongst the reasons she thrives as an MHA Rockstar.
Background
Before joining MHA, Brenda worked a wide array of corporate positions from banking to commercial construction. She held upper leadership and management positions in many of these jobs in which widely helps her as an implementation consultant. Brenda is from Heflin, Alabama. Outside of MHA, she works the lifelong job of a mother to two sons and grandmother to five granddaughters. In her personal life, she enjoys reading books and spending time with her grandchildren.
MHA Experience
As an MHA consultant, Brenda works as a site lead for implementation projects as well as a project manager for acquisitions. Her background in leadership allows her to spearhead large projects, while ensuring efficiency is upheld. She specializes in HH and HOS implementations, and enjoys setting her own pace, largely noticing her ability to use skills she developed in previous roles.
We asked Brenda what she enjoys about working for MHA and she said, “I appreciate the opportunity I was given to serve as project manager/lead on the Homecare Holdings Implementation. There was great synergy between the two teams. I felt this was a great experience for both. Our consultants were given several accolades and the customer indicated the process was quite smooth.”
