To show extra appreciation for our wonderful staff, our leadership team selects a consultant at the beginning of the month who illustrates the MHA Difference while living our core values. This consultant is chosen when they cultivate a productive, professional environment while creating deeper connections with clients. Considering the wonderful pool of consultants, this selection is no easy feat. After careful consideration, Barbara Mlynarczyk October’s Consultant of the Month!
Barbara joined MHA in September of 2020 where she quickly made a name for herself amongst clients and staff. “Barbara has consistently been hungry to learn and produce quality work, assisting consultants and remaining humble throughout,” said senior consultant, Amy Sharkey when asked about working with Barbara. The professional environment warmly welcomes Barbara’s initiative to make business simple, as she always puts in extra effort to make clients feel at ease when undergoing a tough transition.
Background
Barbara has a long history in the home health industry. Prior to working with MHA, she worked as a home health physical therapist for over 20 years. In her past positions, she specialized in direct care, supervision, education, and EMR support which translates nicely to her career at MHA. Barbara was born, raised, and educated in Poland, until she moved to the United States in 1992 to begin her professional career. She now lives in Plano, Texas where she enjoys tennis, and hiking, as well as relaxing with her husband and two children.
MHA Experience
As an MHA consultant, Barbara works as an Implementation expert on the instruction and moderation side. She also works on Rapid Assessments and Optimizations for home health and hospice care. Barbara enjoys this line of work as it allows her to use her years of experience in exciting new ways, while connecting with our team of experts, learning the ins and outs of the industry today. Her job onsite requires quick thinking, the ability to lead and adapt, keeping every situation comfortable and exciting. “My position gives me access to many learning opportunities from MHAs leadership team, allowing me to grow in my career every day.” said Barbara about the excitement she receives from her job.
Barbara’s favorite MHA core value is “making doing business easy” as she has witnessed it on every project and cites this value responsible for the success of everyone involved. Her desire to make things simple, while providing expert service to clients is the number one reason she has excelled as a consultant.
We asked Barbara what her favorite aspect of working for MHA is and she said, “The ability to use (my) years of experience in a fresh new way, while connecting with new people and learning new things.” Her desire to grow has continued to show success and has helped her make a name for herself within MHA. We’re glad to have you, Barbara. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your nomination!
